Important
notice regarding the transition of Australian Citrus Growers Inc to Citrus
Australia Limited.
Please be advised that as of Friday October 31 the entity Australian
Citrus Growers Inc (Associations Act 1985 - South Australia reg #A0023357P)
ceases to exist.
All business carried out by Australian Citrus Growers will now be conducted
under a new entity Citrus Australia Limited (Australian Securities and
Investments Commission - ABN 75 130 238 792) as of November 1, 2008.
Citrus Australia is governed by a newly formed board comprising four grower
and three independent representatives: staff, office location, telephone
and postal details remain unchanged. The Citrus Australia website address
will be www.citrusaustralia.com.au and all email addresses will change
to the suffix@citrusaustralia.com.au (existing website and email addresses
will continue to function until a later date to be advised).
New bank account details will be advised separately.
This restructure to Citrus Australia Ltd was voted for at a special delegates
meeting on October 14, 2008 and it occurs as part of an ongoing strategic
focus to: establish a world class industry body representing the citrus
industry; improve the competitive position of Australian citrus growers;
and enhance industry information and communication.

Citrus Australia (formerly Australian Citrus Growers) was established in
1948 as the national peak body of the Australian citrus growing industry.
Citrus Australia membership includes nine grower organisations and three State Statutory
Citrus Authorities, which in turn represent approximately 2,500 commercial
citrus growers.
