Australian Citrus Growers (Citrus Australia) has welcomed the final advice from Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) regarding the detailed quarantine operational requirements for shipping direct to mainland China.

Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL) has implemented export license conditions for the export trading of oranges to China following advice recieved from the citrus industry through a period of extenisve consultation.

A Citrus to China Committee, which comprises grower, packer, exporter and HAL representatives will review aspects of the marketing program on a weekly basis.
